Waived right of appeal

This arose in that as the rider of MARGOT FONTEYN he raced to the front of the field at the 1700m and failed to maintain, or set, a reasonable pace and thus was a source of interference to a number of horses, which were following in Race 6 at Kenilworth Racecourse on 11 August 2018.

Jockey Dillon pleaded guilty to the charge.

The Inquiry Board accepted his plea and found Jockey Dillon guilty as charged and imposed a penalty of a suspension from riding in races for a period of seven (7) days.

Jockey Dillon waived his Right of Appeal against the penalty imposed and was granted permission to take his suspension from 30 August to 5 September 2018.
