Stuart Randolph – suspended

The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an inquiry held in Durban on 25 February 2016, Jockey S Randolph was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that as the rider of THRONE he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to BLACK CASHMERE on 14 February 2016 at approximately the 1300 metre mark during the running of Race 6 at Scottsville Racecourse.

Jockey Randolph pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Inquiry Board, after considering the evidence, found Jockey Randolph guilty and imposed a suspension from riding in races for a period of seven days.

Jockey Randolph has the right of appeal against the finding and the severity of the penalty imposed.
