Johnny Geroudis – weighed in overweight on third-placed Tellina
The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an inquiry held in Johannesburg on 18 September 2015, Jockey J Geroudis was charged with a contravention of Rule 66.4, in that as the rider of TELLINA, he weighed in more than 1kg above the carded weight at which he weighed out at, after the running of Race 7 run at the Greyville Racecourse on Saturday 4 July 2015.
Jockey Geroudis pleaded guilty to the charge.
The Inquiry Board found Jockey Geroudis guilty and imposed a fine of R10.000.
Jockey Geroudis has the right of appeal against the penalty imposed.
