An Inquiry was held in Port Elizabeth on 15 September 2015 in which Jockey W Agrella was charged with a contravention of Rule 56.4.1.3 in that he failed to proceed to the parade ring immediately after being instructed to do so by the Clerk of Scales prior to the running of Race 8  on 7 September 2015.

Mr Agrella pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Inquiry Board found Mr Agrella guilty of the charge and after considering his blatant disregard for the authority of the Clerk of Scales, he was fined R1000.

Mr Agrella has the Right of Appeal against the finding and the penalty imposed.
