One Stripe Bids For A Third At Hollywoodbets Kenilworth

First due off @ 12h20

Hollywoodbets Kenilworth plays host to today’s local racemeeting.

There are three feature races on today’s nice-race programme: the Gr3 Winter Nursery, Gr3 Legal Eagle Stakes and the Listed Ladies Mile.

The free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge is available for this racemeeting with the first due off at 12h20.

One Stripe (B Fayd’Herbe) impressed when winning the City Of Cape Town Gr3 Cape Of Good Hope Nursery (Pic – Chase Liebenberg)

One Stripe from the Vaughan Marshall stable takes his place in the Gr3 Winter Nursery.

He was super-impressive when winning the City Of Cape Town Gr3 Cape Of Good Hope Nursery last time.

He showed good speed, found another kick and won with a ton in hand. The son of One World has class about him, and he should notch up the hat-trick.

Trainer Candice Bass-Robinson saddles Red Palace in the Listed Ladies Mile. She needed her last start in the Gr3 Champagne Stakes.

She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. She has won twice and finished second once from four starts over this distance.

It is encouraging that Anthony Andrews steps back into the saddle. He is likely to use her early gate speed to overcome the wide draw and she may be hard to peg back.
