The first casualty of Phumelela’s recent depth charge into business rescue emerged on Friday when a Sens announcement advised that CEO John Stuart was leaving.

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the board of directors of Phumelela Gaming and Leisure Limited  notified its shareholders that Mr John Stuart is stepping down as CEO and as an executive director of Phumelela Gaming and Leisure Limited(“the Company”) with immediate effect.

The Board and management team thanked John for his service in the horseracing and gaming industry over the past 40 years.
