Clyde Basel
Phumelela has announced that Clyde Basel, executive in charge of Hospitality, Events, Marketing, Sales and Public Relations has been appointed Racing Executive with effect from 1 October 2015.
Basel will retain his portfolio in respect of Hospitality and Events.
Phumelela also announced that Group Chief Operating Officer, Andreas Heide, will assume responsibility for Public Relations and this portfolio will be handed over to Heide during the course of August.
As far as the Marketing and/or Sales portfolios are concerned, a decision on the way forward is still under discussion and will be announced in due course.
