Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Garth Puller saddles Winter Baron in Race 5.

He showed good pace in his last start over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville, but was caught in the shadow of the post by Faustino.

The son of What A Winter takes a drop in class.

He is having his first run on this course and if not too green around the turn, he should be the horse to beat with Richard Fourie in the saddle.

Winter Air from the Gareth van Zyl yard may be the horse to close off the meeting. He was not beaten far in his last start over 1400m on this course.

He takes a drop in class and will be at peak fitness. The son of What A Winter has cracked a good draw of three and will be mowing down the frontrunners.
