R3 Million Pick 6 Expected On SplashOut Cape Derby Day

The first race

Punters are in for a treat at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Saturday with a Gr1 contest, three Gr3’s and two Listed races, plus the chance to cash in big on a likely R3-million Pick 6 pool.

The SplashOut Cape Derby tops the bill and Dean Kannemeyer’s Green With Envy is the one to beat.

He won the Gr3 Politician Stakes over 1800m with ease and Kannemeyer, who has won the race twice before, said that the Derby 2000m will be ideal for his charge.

Green With Envy is a worthy banker in small Pick 6 perms, but Justin Snaith’s up-and-coming Rapidash and Beach Bomb, the only Grade 1 winner in the race, come into the picture.
