RA ‘Keen To Engage’

In the interests of transparency

lets meetFollowing the publication earlier today of a response by owner Steve Reid to a recent Racing Association press release, an invitation has been extended via the Sporting Post to Mr Reid, to engage further with RA CEO Larry Wainstein.

As stated in the response tabled by the Board of the Racing Association, the owner representative body does not wish to enter into debates in the press as this only results in the Sport of Horseracing being tarnished through mud-slinging.

In this regard, they are happy to extend an invitation to Mr Reid to engage with their CEO and at least one of their Directors at his earliest convenience – at which forum they will gladly answer any of his questions relating to the Racing Association and its activities and responsibilities.

“We are happy to do so in the best interests of transparency, despite Mr Reid not being a member of the Racing Association,” they said.

Ed: We have conyeyed the contents of the RA response to Mr Reid. We hope to do a follow-up for the public benefit in the future.
