Summerveld trainer Dennis Drier has the pedigree of a champion.
He has ten runners at Hollywoodbets Greyville today.
His immediate family traces back to his late great uncle, the legendary Syd Garrett, and with a few Lairds thrown into the pedigree for good measure, a father and uncle being jockeys, and married to Gill, daughter of leading trainer John Breval, Dennis Drier was never going to be anything other than a trainer of thoroughbred racehorses.
