Gauteng racecaller Nico Kritsiotis is the latest winner of the daily R500 prize in the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge Racing Stars competition after the Royal raceday at Turffontein on Saturday.

Kritsiotis, who is also co-host of the Clocking The Gallop platform, tipped 6 winners on Day 15 and surged ahead to beat fellow commentator Rouvaun Smit and Cape Racing on-course presenter , MJ ‘Bakkies’ Byleveld, who put in a strong late run.

The uber consistent Grant Knowles leads the charge on the weekly log ahead of Rouvaun Smit, who is participating from his hospital bed as he undergoes rehabilitation after surgery last month.

The week 2 action ends at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Sunday.

There is R3 000 in prize money for the weekly competition, with R2 500 going to the weekly winner with the most points, and R500 to the person with the most winners for that week.

The balance of the game weeks will run as follows:

Week 3 – Mon 17th April to Sun 23rd April

Week 4 – Mon 24th April to Sun 30th April
