All eight races broadcast on Saturday

Racing fans and punters are in for a treat on Saturday 29 February 2020 as the inaugural edition of the Saudi Cup horse racing event will be broadcast on Tellytrack 1 (channel 239 on DStv) while TAB will offer a full bouquet of betting options.

The race times are as follows:

  • 15:00     Race 1:     The Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors Cup, Open 2100m   turf
  • 15:35     Race 2:      The stc 1351 Cup, Open                                        1351m   turf
  • 16:10     Race 3:      The Longines Turf Handicap, Open                       3000m turf
  • 16:45     Race 4:      The Obaiya Arabian Classic, (Purebred Arabia) 2000m dirt
  • 17:30     Race 5:       The Jockey Club Local Handicap, Open             1800m   dirt
  • 18:10     Race 6:       The Samba Saudi Derby, Open                           1600m   dirt
  • 18:50     Race 7:       The Saudia Sprint, Open                                       1200m   dirt
  • 19:40     Race 8:       The Saudi Cup                                                        1800m   dirt

TAB’s betting bouquet will offer the following:

ALL RACES: Win, Place, Swinger, Exacta, Trifecta, Quartet, Rolling Double (Races 1-2; 2-3; etc).

Bipot: Races 1-6.

Place Accumulator: Races 2-8

Pick 6: Races 3-8.
