Fourie And Bremner Partner Up

He'll be travelling a lot more

Going into the final weekend of the season Richard Fourie has ridden 138 winners, and is ranked third in terms of stakes earned, with a whopping R21.3 million.

And that’s without leaving Cape Town all that often.

Tabnews reports that the bad news for his rivals is that Fourie plans to up his game in the new season, and as a first step has linked up with Yvette Bremner in Port Elizabeth.

“I’ll be travelling a lot more, and if the championship is within reach come March or April I’ll give it a full go.Yvette Bremner has very kindly agreed to assist me as her first choice Lyle Hewitson is off to Hong Kong. So I will be travelling to PE most Fridays.

“I’m very happy to link up with such a highly consistent, respected, well established and successful yard. There’s not enough racing in Cape Town to keep us going anyway” he adds with a laugh.
