Richie Is Powered By Cosmic Speed Today!

First due off @ 12h35

An eight-race programme has been carded for the Turffontein Inside course this afternoon. The first is due off at 12h35 with the lucky last set for 16h40.

Don’t forget to get your free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge selections in before the first is off.

Look out for Richard Fourie in Race 2 (Pic – Chase Liebenberg)

Cosmic Speed from the Sean Tarry stable takes his place in Race 2. He ran a good race on debut over 1000m on the Vaal Classic course.

He returns from a 12-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up.

Richard Fourie takes this ride on the son of Querari and he should have no issues with the rise to 1200m.

With the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one to beat.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Stuart Pettigrew sends out Pocket Watch in the lucky last race.

He is better than his last start at the Vaal. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since.

He won his maiden over this course and distance. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from his awkward draw of eight and may be hard to peg back.
