Will Nafaayes stay the 1800m?

With the countdown to the Classic Day humdinger at Turffontein on 2 March now in full swing, the first entries for the feature races on the afternoon were received on Monday.

The return match between the Gauteng Guineas top two National Park and Hawwaam should be a highlight of the R2 million Gr1 SA Classic, where only 11 entries have been received. Mike de Kock holds close on fifty percent of the entry and the final field is likely to be a small one.

Gauteng Fillies Guineas winner Nafaayes is back in the Wilgerbosdrift SA Triple Tiara second where she bids to go the 1800m for the first time. Her cause has been aided by a 1 draw as she takes on Guineas runner-up Running Brave.
