At a dazzling event held on 17th September at 03 Desmond, Kramerville in Sandton, , SANSUI Summer Cup launched its campaign and announced its fashion theme for 2013: “Colour to Conquer”.

It also introduced its first ever “Face of SANSUI Summer Cup”, the elegant radio and television presenter and producer Azania Mosaka.

Azania describes this inaugural collaboration as thrilling. “The SANSUI Summer Cup is everything a stylish day at the races should be, I’m delighted to be the ambassador of this prestigious event and really look forward to “Colour to Conquer” in this powerful expression of stand-out style and glorious colour.”

Jane Esterhuizen, Group Marketing Executive of SANSUI in South Africa says: “The SANSUI Summer Cup reflects the qualities that SANSUI, as a globally recognised consumer electronics brand, is known for:  quality, aspiration and, credibility.”

But, it isn’t only the thoroughbreds who will run against one another. Racing for charity, 25 celebrities will take to the racecourse in the HiFi Corp Charity Dash, a heated sprint to raise funds for the event’s official charity Rainbows and Smiles – a non-profit organisation providing support to families and caregivers of children diagnosed with cancer.

Then, there’s the famous “Mo-Kini Sprint”, when some of South Africa’s hottest men swap their kit for “mankinis” in a cheeky dash to do good and raise awareness for Movember SA.
