Snaith Buy Big At Durbanville

Australia filly fetches R1,8 million

South Africa’s Champion Trainer elect Justin Snaith was the major buyer at the Central Route Trading Mixed & Horses-In-Training Sale held at Durbanville on Thursday.

Snaith was responsible for the three major purchaes on the sale, which was topped by Lot 35, an unnamed filly by Australia from a family of European stakes winners, who fetched top price of R1,8-million.

They also signed for Lot 26, Crown Towers, an unraced colt by Camelot from a mare by Galileo, who fetched R1,7-million for 80% of the colt.

Lot 33, Starship Legacy, an unraced colt by Dynasty from the family of Solo Traveller and Redberry Lane, fetched R1,7-million.

The Gr1 winner Lady Of The House was reportedly privately sold and withdrawn from the sale.
