A South African sports fan won over R1.3 million from the popular Soccer 13 bet this past weekend. The lucky South African Soccer fan is one of the seven winners who correctly predicted results for 13 soccer matches on Sunday 14 September 2014.
Phumelela’s director of Sport’s Betting Vee Moodley confirmed that the soccer fan managed to pick the correct results of 13 out of 13 in the soccer pool, by placing a bet for just R409, 60 and collected a whopping R1.2million in prize money for their prediction. By predicting the top 13 results the winner automatically qualifies for the 10/13,11/13 and 12/13 dividends accumulating a further R143 302,40 to his winnings.
The Soccer 13 betting was launched in South Africa in May 2012 and has created many millionaires. It’s a multi-match bet which requires players to select result for 13 pre-determined soccer matches from three possibilities: a home win, draw or an away win.
