Striker To End Today Free In Seattle

First due off @ 12h20

With the Hollywoodbets Durbanville racemeeting, previously carded for today, now postponed to Friday, racing at Vaal is the standalone meeting for the day.

An eight-race programme is on the cards with the first due off at 12h20.

Don’t forget to take the free Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge on this racemeeting.

Francilien from the Lucky Houdalakis stable should give punters a good start to the day.

She produced an eye-catching debut effort over this course and distance. She was green in running but finished off her race strongly.

The daughter of What A Winter would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should take a power of beating.

Piere Strydom – could make it third time lucky today on Free In Seattle (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

Trainer St John Gray sends out Free In Seattle in the lucky last. She may not have seen out the 1800m last time.

Her penultimate run when third over 1500m on this course was eye-catching. Piere Strydom has ridden her at both her previous two placed starts, and takes the reins today again, which is encouraging!

She should be ideally suited to the straight mile and is the horse to beat.
