Gold Circle has confirmed that all seven Graded races scheduled for tomorrow’s eLan Gold Cup Racemeeting will go ahead on the turf track as planned.

However, the Maiden Juvenile Plate over 1900m (Race 2) has been moved to the Polytrack.

As of lunch time on Saturday , the average penetrometer reading was 27 with some areas in the low thirties. The false rail on the Turf track has been placed at 4,5m off the inside running rail from the 1600m mark.

“The turf track at Greyville has responded well to the good weather we have enjoyed since Wednesday and with another 24 hours to go, and fine weather predicted,  the scene is set for a great day’s racing,” said Gold Circle’s Racing Executive Raf Sheik.

Patrons are reminded that all race times remain as carded.
