We do not have much detail at this early stage, but can confirm that the driver has been airlifted to hospital and work rider from Louis Goosen’s yard was seriously injured. Unconfirmed reports state that a member of the Lucky Houdalakis yard may have lost his life.

You have to make good things happen in this life. Going to James Maree’s school and getting my licence to ride work has changed my life completely. There are quite a few grooms who have natural talent. They should go to Mr Maree’s school and, once there, work hard and develop their skills.
Our aim is to fulfill one dream to the very best of our ability, to inspire hope and hopefully give the children the courage and belief that tomorrow is worth fighting for
