Tellina – exciting European debut

After last appearing on a race track on 26 March 2016, South African-bred Tellina made his European debut in the Gr3 German St Leger on Sunday, 18 September 2016, putting up an exciting performance to finish one length second.

The race was won by Near England (Lord Of England – Near Gallante) trained by Markus Klug and ridden to victory by Andreas Helfenbein in a time of 2m 56.96 seconds.
