MultiChoice and Tellytrack sign agreement

tellytrack logoMultiChoice, Phumelela, Gold Circle and Kenilworth Racing today announced a new agreement to distribute the TellyTrack channel. Individual DStv customers and hotels will receive TellyTrack on DStv channel 239 from 27 March 2014.

Tellytrack retained the right to make its services available to bookmakers, restaurants, pubs and clubs. The DStv service to these customers will be terminated on 27 March 2014 as announced by MultiChoice in February.

“All parties involved worked hard to ensure the service to the vast majority of DStv customers who currently use this channel is not disrupted. We trust that our individual DStv and hotel customers will continue to enjoy the now locally focused TellyTrack as part of their DStv service. Our DStv Access and Family customers will now also be able to receive this channel,” said Mark Rayner, COO for MultiChoice South Africa.

John Stuart, TellyTrack’s CEO said: “We are delighted that MultiChoice has agreed to make TellyTrack available to individual DStv customers and hotels. We want our sport to reach as many people as possible, and MultiChoice is helping us to achieve that. “

“As a commercial operation, it makes sense for us to directly manage the availability of our services to certain customers. We felt this was the most appropriate commercial solution for all parties involved. ”

Customers affected by this change who wish to continue to access TellyTrack’s services, can contact TellyTrack directly at [email protected]
