Five weeks after his dominant Dubai World Cup victory, Arrowfield Stud’s majority-owned recent Gr1 Dubai World Cup winner and upcoming 2013 shuttler Animal Kingdom (Leroidesanimaux-Dalicia, by Acatenango) has been rated the world’s best entire.

The latest World Thoroughbred Rankings for the period 1 November 2012-28 April 2013 give the 5YO son of Leroisdesanimaux a rating of 126, alongside 6YO gelding Game On Dude. Only recently retired undefeated Australian superstar Black Caviar (130) & 6YO gelding Wise Dan (129) are rated above them.

By way of comparison, Breeders’ Cup Classic G1 winner Fort Larned and Japanese star Orfevre have been awarded a rating of 125. Animal Kingdom is currently in England preparing for a start at Royal Ascot next month and will join the Arrowfield stallion roster for the 2013 breeding season at a fee of $38,500.
