Forty Years On – Chasing The Dream

A look down the years of the TBA

A souvenir booklet commemorating the TBA’s 40 years of business at the Gosforth Park Sales complex which opened in 1977 has been published for the opening of the 2016 National Yearling Sale.

The colourful and fascinating mini-magazine includes short articles, tributes, anecdotes and photos focussing on some of the highlights of the last four decades of chasing the dream in the sales ring.

Compiled by seasoned journalist Charl Pretorius for the TBA, it has some amazing stories, plenty to remember, lots to laugh at and it features tales by or about racing personalities from Syd Birch to Syd Laird to Mary Slack, John Kramer, Paul Lafferty, Graham Beck and plenty more.

It is available at the TBA Complex from Wednesday, the first day of the sale, while the digital version can be seen here on the Sporting Post website  below.
