Tiger Ridge at Nationals

Tiger Ridge

A P Indy’s haf brother Tiger Ridge – has 11 yearlings at Nationals

The late Tiger Ridge has been enjoying a fine season with his runners in 2013-2014. The son of Storm Cat, and half-brother to legendary sire A P Indy, has been represented by no fewer than eight black type performers.

His 2yos have been doing particularly well, with Tiger Ridge’s juveniles including recent Gr3 Englezakis Protea Stakes hero Isphan, as well as the stakes placed pair of What About Me (3rd Gr3 Strelitzia Stakes), and Jo Malone (3rd Storm Bird Stakes).

Another smart performer sired by Tiger Ridge is the Gr1 SA Derby bound colt As You Like, who was third in the recent Gr1 SA Classic.

Tiger Ridge is a top-class sire whose 30 plus stakes winners include former Gr1 Sansui Summer Cup hero Wagner, and Equus Champion Cherry On The Top (one of only two fillies ever to win the South African Triple Tiara).

Overseas, Tiger’s progeny included the record breaking Strike The Tiger and top-class, US millionaire Leah’s Secret.
