Trippi colt – Travelin Man flies in G2 Swale

Travelin Man make it 30th SW for his sire Trippi

Travelin Man, a recent Hutcheson Stakes (G2) runner-up, made quick work of four challengers in his second stakes attempt, surging away in the stretch of the $147,000 Swales Stakes (G2) to a dominant two-length victory under John Velazquez.

The Trippi colt completed the distance in 1:21.94 on a track rated as fast to become the 30th stakes winner for his sire. Pletcher said he will consider his options with Triple Crown nominated Travelin Man, including possibly stretching him out to see if he can handle a route of ground.
