Viking Harry’s Final Call

A voice that painted a thousand pictures

The Sporting Post has learnt overnight that South African born Michaelhouse educated Swedish Harness Racing commentator Harry Chedle, popularly known as ‘Viking Harry’ to his legion fans around the world, has passed away.

He was a regular on Tellytrack previewing Swedish racing when it was broadcast in years past.

Viking Harry developed a cult following in Australia recently for his epic early crows and scalding drivers during the races.

A true character of the game.

Our condolences are extended to his family and friends.

MHDSRIP.
