Warren’s wife Barbara told the Sporting Post on Sunday morning that her husband was feeling a little stiff and was suspended for 48 hours in terms of NHRA regulations. He thus missed out on his Hollywoodbets Scottsville engagements.

“He is having a short break but he hopes to ride at Turffontein on Tuesday where he has seven rides,” she said.

Warren came off Paul Peter’s Cattitude when the filly appeared to go wrong in the home straight when leading the seventh race.

The story regrettably ended on a sad note for Cattitude, who had shown promise when winning her debut at her previous start.
