Smooth Sailing To 127 For WSB Guineas Winner

Proofs my point again. Even if Garrix wins at end of the month he can only go to +- 118. Making him the best handicapped 3yo if he runs in the July. He has beaten Wild Intent with ease at level weights before. Thus he should have the measure of all 3yo based on collararel form... If he was mine I ll do smash & grab. Nothing to loose. Then rest him. The result will not affect his weight for the Cape season..Kings Plate or

Hi Corne
The Equator was imported by Willem Ackerman and Adv Nigel Riley.
We have not been able to get a comment on race plans from the Peter Stable.

The world is gone mad with these 3yo ratings - currently Sail the Seas gets 2kgs from See It Again and 1kg from Oriental Charm.

He concedes 4kgs to Wild Intent and weight to other older horses - surely he cannot win the July

Morne’s Got The Jet Force Behind Him!

Frankie Zackey... Very happy for Kenny Geemooi,, lovely to see that Kenny has another good horse on his hands...Going past the 400m he had no right to win,,only good horse's can bail themselves out from that position...Kakkies I hope you got the chocolates boy 😎 Quartet paid a whopping R1260

Frankie Zackey..I absolutely agree..After listening to Justins and Richard's comment after the race,, punters and the public are unsure about the July... Richard says they have a bigger plan than just the Daily News,, Justin on the other hand seems unsure about the July at this stage.. I'm sure the biggest plan in mind,,is getting 8 on 18 to Drakenstein Stud farm...My gut feeling is telling me that Justin is going the easier route DN and the HKJC Champions Cup,,we've seen Justin take that route successfully

We all would love to see our favourite horses run in the biggest race in the country. I certainly believe that a trainer and owner has to do what's best for the horse.
Owners do not seem to understand what group racing is all about. I recall speaking to Garth Puller who explained to me what happens to a horse if it is not in the same class as a group horse, Yet we consistently see horses with low ratings entered in these races. Is that the trainer , owner or just ego
I see Navaho nation entered in the July. This horse although a decent horse is below group level. This horse was entered over and over again in group races .
Martial Eagle won the Met as a 7 yr old after being retied and brougt back into training by Yogas Govender .
His comments were" I promised Martial Eagle in his box before the Met that he would be retired irrespective of the result. He had done everything i asked of him"
It's about the horse and a career but sadly our racing is about ego's and this my friends is to the detriment of the game.
Owners who understand horse racing always have success.
