Trainer T Millard's charges ran
1-2-3 in the July in 1984 (or was it '86) and 1990.
Has an owner ever had a 1-2,
I wonder - Nic Jonsson co-owns the hot favourite and has another two who are not chanceless at all.

You just missed it but on 6 July 1963 Colorado King (Robbie Sivewright) beat Speciality (George Patmore) and Jerez (Johnny Cawcutt) to win the Durban July - then run for a stake of just over R33

As I said before: people will come out in droves to experience the thrill to see champion horses and jockeys. That is the recipe for success and creates memorable moments.
Hollywood Bets investment in this sport and infrastructure cannot be underestimated.
Justin Snaith's Eight on Eighteen is pure class. The July field is well balanced and the track just before the bend into the straight must be protected, looks worn to hard. There is something on the left-hand side around the bend that is distracting the horses, just an observation.
The Hollywood Bets July gallops has set a new benchmark for horseracing.

Hello Keith 🙂

Good point, but the ones used today in the Gallops, I'm not so sure

Look, it was a Lekker outing, but I'm not reading to much into it. All seems okay and healthy except See it Again, but told minor.

What did you make of it !

Take care - let's win this

The standout at the Hollywoodbets Greyville gallops was on my honour. He looks a different animal to his runs in Cape Town in the punters and guineas. He is value for 4 places. Immediate Edge still the standout! Eight on Eighteen … hard to access at 57kg … the first time he is giving weight to most the field. Still the horse to beat but not by
