Turffontein Racemeeting Postponed To Sunday

Hi Shannon, Hollywoodbets Greyville moved to Monday. If Scottsville is tossed or moved, it would solve the double header riding arrangements for Sunday. However, the real joker in the pack is if the big Turffontein meeting on Saturday is rain affected!!!!
Amazing, I am sure most of us SP, readers of my vintage (72) have never known anything like this, in 60 years of following this wonderful

Dagsê Geoff, gaan goed Dankie, hoop jy ook.

Yes, I see a few of us fancy 8 on 18, true these good ones win from a mile onwards
But CJs fancy Cosmic Speed, if he stays in, might be the one ! LoL, surely they won't use this race for warm ups

Lots of rain in our system, Howick Falls even made the April Fool's Witness joke

Geoff, hoping to meet you at the Scottsville 3 Gr1 race day, normally busy, but us ballies stalwarts of the game 🙂 will push in

Take care, keep sending the water to us

Hollywoodbets Greyville Friday – Moves To Monday

And there we in Natal thought the NHA made a fresh Rule that a Durban Friday Night meeting that was postponed had to be postponed to Sunday Day Racing
And the Scheduled Durban Sunday meeting would be moved to Monday.
But then, when a certain Midlands Mayor does not agree.
This what we end up with.
Friday night becomes Monday

I find it interesting that only the trainers log runs by stakes earned, while jockey/apprentice is on winners ridden. Doesn't seem fair. Mr Greeff will never be crowned national trainer due to the HUGE difference in stakes money. Oh

Protest Jocks – Majority To Face Inquiry In May

Mr. Parks , Steinhof instigated and caused the loss of millions but we still had no right to go and sort them out with violance and should we have done so we would have had to face the consequences of any violent act , we do not want to punish Gavin for that act as you put it , he has punished himself for that act , the protest saga was caused by the immediate suspension of GvN when what was required was a cool head and had the NHA have felt agrieved by his comments they should have opened an inquiry and allowed due process to follow , your last sentance is an over simplification of how this very serious incident must be resolved and Gavin can be thankful that he did not receive an immediate suspension after that race for assualt as is provided for in the NHA rules.

My advice to Gavin is , withdraw your appeal , accept the sanction , come back after suspension , display your excellent race riding skills we all know you possess and thereby turn the unfortunate matter into the

Lerena To Appeal Gates Crop Incident Findings And Penalties

You are aware that the jockey first priority when riding is to try and give his mount the best possible chance of achieving the best placing for a horse? If you want to take your frustrations out do it in the jockey room after the race or in the bloody carpark don't do it while the race is on and you are meant to be trying to achieve the best possible placing for the owner trainer and
