Window Extended For Handicapping Comment

NHA CEO extends window after admin error

Willing To Talk. National Horseracing Authority's Denzil Pillay responds

Inviting comment – NHA’s Denzil Pillay

An admit glitch means that there is more time for industry stakeholders to comment on the Merit Ratings Handicapping system.

In a communication dated 19 June 2014, Denzil Pillay stated that “due to an administrative oversight, the report submitted to the National Board in April was omitted from the previous communication on the merit rating review.  The website has been updated to include all relevant documentation for your consideration i.e. the NHA workshop report that was submitted to the Board and dated 25/04/2014, the supporting annexures A-E and the proposed changes to the WFA scale. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.”

In view of the above the date for written submissions has been extended to 15 July 2014.

Once all submissions have been received, a subcommittee will be convened to review and consider the detail and produce findings and recommendations to the National Board.

All the relevant documents can be viewed on the NHA website.
