Winning made to look easy in Winning Form

wflogoWINNING FORM produced the magic again on Emerald Cup day, with resident tipster eMeM tipping the record breaking Vaal Pick 6 straight line on the Magic Tips page of South Africa’s foremost horseracing tipping publication.

Astonishingly, eMeM found the 25/1 rank outsider In A Rush who shocked many with his victory in the Grade 2 Emerald Cup, the highlight on the day’s proceedings. Of course, he also got the jackpot straight line as well!

With the Pick 6 pool soaring to an unbelievable R5 275 619.53, racing enthusiasts pitted their knowledge, skills and wits against a card that looked tricky and filled with curved balls.

The Super Pick Six numbers were clocked up in thrilling style! The late withdrawal of the debut winner and tote favourite Trip Tease after bolting the start in the first leg, set a dramatic backdrop for the record breaking Pick 6 opener, where Randall Simons steered the impressive Gold Prospector to a great win.

One down, five to go!

Geoff Woodruff’s Australian bred son of Churchill Downs, Killua Castle has been given a second lease on life on the sand, and he skated clear to win the second leg comfortably at odds of 11/10.

Two down, four to go!

While some inspired betting support came for Sean Tarry’s lightly raced Dolomiti in the third leg, the Listed Emerald Fillies Handicap, the tried and tested sand star, Formation, shone brightly, and the daughter of Sarge won going away by almost five lengths at decent odds of 5/2.

Three down, three to go!

Some of the greatest winning bets turn on a tickie and a heartbeat, and the right Kom Naidoo runner came up trumps in the fourth leg. The KZN based trainer sent out the trifecta in this event last year, and he dominated the exacta this time around. The 2012 placing was reversed though, with the lightly raced Cape Winter getting up by a nostril to avenge the defeat suffered at the hands of his stablemate, Be Assured, a year ago.

Four down, two to go!

The Pick 6 kicker came in the day’s headliner, where the Port Elizabeth trained In A Rush dished out a galloping lesson to the locals at his first attempt on the sand.

The smart son of Windrush was always going well from his pole position draw, and won Africa’s richest sand race by three parts of a length at startlingly generous odds of 25 to 1!

Five down, one to go!

With our Pick 6 hopes resting on the broad shoulders of the brilliant reigning champion jockey Piere Strydom, the Winning Form team shouted home the consistent sand specialist, Henry Higgins who ran on well to win the last.

Bank the cash and raise a toast to eMeM!

Six great races! Six great winners!

And a brilliant straight line winning Pick 6 selection that returned R121 698.60 for the minimum outlay of R6 by South Africa’s foremost tipster.

If that wasn’t enough, the Magic Tips jackpot also paid out R9249.00 for just a R6 investment.

Just goes to show again. Enjoy your racing and leave the form studying to the experts!

All that for less than the price of a slab of chocolate!

Victory is indeed sweet!
