Ridgemont Highlands’ multiple Gr1 winning sire Jackson continued the golden run of his 3yo’s this season when his daughters Eva Eileen and Flame Tree filled the top two places in Tuesday’s Winter Solstice Listed Stormsvlei Stakes run over a mile at a sunny Kenilworth.

The Cape Derby winning son of Dynasty, a handsome and athletic looker, produces sensational looking offspring in his mould, and they can run too – as proven this term by dual Gr3 winner Pretty Young Thing, CTS Ready To Run Stakes winner Pure State and R2,652 million earner Count Jack as notable three-year-olds.
And Eva Eileen and Flame Tree endorsed the Jackson roll when the former, a Patrick Kruyer trained galloper, unleashed an impressive turn of foot, under jockey MJ Byleveld, to get up and deny her paternal half-sister victory in Tuesday’s Listed feature by a long neck.
Unfancied, Eva Eileen started at 25-1 and recorded a time of 116,44 secs.
Bred by part-owner Rick Achmat, Eva Eileen took her tally of wins to three, from ten starts, and three wins from her last four starts when landing her maiden stakes success.
Out of the Captain Al mare Captain’s Catch, Eva Eileen has earned R134 000.
Sensational value, Jackson sired three-year-olds have banked more than R5,8 million in the heavily curtailed 2019/20 season to date.
