Francis Semela finishes second

Samuel Mosia had a splendid four-timer at the Workrider’s meeting at Turffontein on Saturday and was the deserved winner of the three-legged Work Riders Challenge Series for the season.

Mosia earned R20,000 as series winner and also landed a R5000 cheque as leading rider on the day.

Francis Semela finished second in the series and landed a cheque of R10,000.

Chamu Mabaya finished third and earned R5000.

The cheques were presented by James Maree, whose tutorship has been invaluable to workrider’s for many years and he has also been the driving force in securing better prospects for workriders and their families.
