Bernie’s Dream from the Glen Kotzen stable takes his place in Race 5. He showed good guts when winning his last start over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville.

The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests he will enjoy the step up to the 1200m.

Keagan de Melo who was aboard the son of Crusade when shedding his maiden tag, takes the ride and the pair should find themselves in the winner’s enclosure once again.

Gavin van Zyl sends out Whizz Of Odds in Race 7. She has some decent recent form lines to her credit.

She finished 3 lengths behind Vivid Jet in her penultimate effort.

She is 7kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The daughter of Crusade will be staying on strongly in the run down to the line.
