Bhakka Is Back At Fairview

The Bipot starts in the first race at 12h30

Racing in the Windy City takes place on the polytrack at Fairview Racecourse this afternoon.

An eight-race programme is scheduled with the first due off at 12h30.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Gavin Smith saddles the Hollywood Syndicate owned, Bhakka in Race 4.

He has won his last two starts well. Despite running into traffic problems last time, the manner in which he drew away from the opposition was impressive.

He should have no issues with the drop to 2000m. The 5yo gelding takes a rise in class, but he is in a good space and can notch up the hat- trick.

Perfectly Putt from the Jaap Visser stable takes his place in the lucky last race. He ran a good race when finishing third in his local debut over 1300m on this course.

He was slow into stride, settled at the rear of the field and finished his race off strongly. On that effort, he will be better suited to today’s distance.

The 5yo gelding is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. Raymond Danielson retains the ride which is encouraging.

Lukas Bester will not be riding today with the stipes permission.

The false rail is 3m out at the 421m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first race at 12h30
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second race at 13h00
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 13h35
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h10
  • The second Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h50
