Fairview Friday – Follow Fourie!

The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 13h30

Eight races are carded on the polytrack at Fairview Racecourse this afternoon.

Richard Fourie has a full book of rides with some good chances of winning and may be the jockey worth following.

The first is due off at 12h20.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Alan Greeff saddles Rock Garden in Race 2 and he is the best bet on the card. He has produced two good efforts over this distance.

The son of Flower Alley raced green in his last start on the turf which may have cost him the victory.

He looks to be a progressive type and with Richard Fourie in the saddle, he should be the one to beat.

Homer Fidget from the Juan Nel stable takes his place in Race 5. He is much better than his last start over 1800m on the turf.

He over raced in the early stages that day and was reported to be fatigued. He has finished second three times and third twice from eight starts over this course and distance.

The son of Go Deputy drops back in class and if switching off early, he can return to winning ways.

Chase Maujean will not be riding today due to family responsibilities and Craig Zackey will not be riding today as he is medically indisposed.
