Young Cole Dicken gets a big race chance

The barrier draws for the Gr1 Summer Cup were done at a function on Wednesday evening.

Favourite Soqrat drew 14 – and history shows that the winners come from the single digit gates. The last double digit draw winner was Wagner, who raced from the 11 gate in 2012.

Prior to that, Mike de Kock’s Flirtation won from 16 in 2010.
