Gunter Injury – An Update

Operation on Wednesday morning

An update received on Gunter Wrogemann’s condition indicates that his medical team have agreed to proceed with an operation on Wednesday morning to fix the two breaks in his jaw – subject to the swelling not worsening overnight.

His General Surgeon is also happy with the arm which was crushed, as the blood flow has improved and it will thus not need an operation. The arm has been taken out of suspension and ice packs.

Gunter will be kept sedated after the surgery until the end of the weekend at which point he will be brought out of unconsciousness.
