Jimmy The Rich writes that Andre Nel saddles Exceed Expectation and he should get the punters off to a good start.

He has shown good improvement since the gelding and the tongue-tie has done the trick. He showed good speed over 1200m at Kenilworth last time, but found one too good in the form of Voldemort.

The son of Pomodoro jumps from pole position and if seeing out the 1400m, he should shed his maiden tag.

Windsor Beat from the Adam Marcus stable represents decent each way value in Race 4. She finished 1.25 lengths behind Gillian Anne last time.

She is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

She has won twice and finished second once from four starts over this course and distance. The 5yo mare is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back in the run down to the line.

The false rail is set at 2,5m out on the back straight with a 4m spur at approximately the 550m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 13h00
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 13h35
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 14h15
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 14h55
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 15h30
