The Magic Of Flight At Turffontein

It is an early start to the day with the first due off at 12h10.

Joshwin Solomons rides Magical Flight in Race 3 today (Pic- Chase Liebenberg)

Jimmy The Rich writes that trainer Sean Tarry saddles Magical Flight in Race 3. She ran a good race when finishing second over 1400m on the Standside course last time.

She set the pace, but was caught late by the classy War Of Athena. The blinkers seem to have done the trick on the daughter of Willow Magic.

1.5kgs claiming apprentice Joshwin Solomons retains the ride and from her good draw of four, she should be the one to beat.

Evening Rise from the Fabian Habib stable represents decent each way value in Race 4.

She was disappointing in her last start when taking on male company on the Vaal Classic course. Her two efforts prior to that outing against stronger company were encouraging.

She runs well on this course and if putting her best foot forward, she may be the one to beat.
