You’ve only got one life, that’s my motto. I believe if you’re good to people, then they’ll be good to you.
Anyone can train a horse, it’s what you do when the wheels fall off – that’s the difference between being good and being great. Successful trainers are the ones who know what to do when things go wrong and who can pick up the pieces and carry on.

It was not always easy in those days with the milk run, the paper run, serving an apprenticeship, working as a cocktail barman at night and then also working in a bookmaker at weekend.
