Domeyer The Jock To Follow

The Bipot starts in the first at 13h20

Durbanville plays hosts to an eight-race programme this afternoon.

Aldo Domeyer has seven rides on the card and five have a decent chance of winning – he may be the jockey to follow.

The first is off at 13h20.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Bereave from the Adam Marcus stable takes his place in Race 2 and he is the best bet on the card.

He is lightly raced with good form to his credit. He found plenty of betting support when finishing second in his last outing over 1400m on this course.

The 11-week break would have done the son of Vercingetorix the world of good and with Aldo Domeyer in the saddle, he should return to winning ways.

Brett Crawford saddles Veni Vidi Vicci in Race 7. His last start over 1400m was fair.

His penultimate run when finishing second over 1600m at Kenilworth catches the eye.

The son of Twice Over is bred to enjoy the 1800m and he should be cherry-ripe. If putting his best foot forward, he should return to winning ways in this small field.

The false rail is set at zero with a 2m spur at approximately the 550m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 13h20
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 13h55
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 14h30
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 15h05
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 15h40
