Follow Fourie’s Full Book Today

Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 15h15

Durbanville Racecourse hosts eight races this afternoon.

Richard Fourie has a full book of rides with a good few chances of winning and he must be the jockey to follow.

The first race is due off at 13h30.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Peut Etre Moi from the Justin Snaith stable takes her place in Race 3.

She ran a good race when finishing second over 1200m at Kenilworth last time.

The daughter of Master Of My Fate should love the extra furlong on offer today. If not too green around the turn, she should take a power of beating.

Vaughan Marshall saddles Path Of Choice in the lucky last race. He has shown some signs of a form return in his last two starts.

He finished 1,65 lengths behind Benjamin last time and is 2kgs better off at the weights. That should be enough for the tables to be turned.

He has won once, finished second once and third three times from six starts on this course. Richard Fourie takes the ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

The false rail is set at it’s original position on the back straight. There is a 2m spur at approximately the 550m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 13h30
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 14h05
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 14h40
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 15h15
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 15h50
