Jimmy The Rich writes that Clafoutis from the powerful De Kock stable takes her place in Race 4 and she is the best bet on the card.

She followed up her maiden win with an equally impressive victory over this course and distance, three weeks ago. She moved up with a ton in hand and won with ease.

The daughter of Flower Alley has shown that she has plenty of ability and she should notch up the hat-trick.

The combination of Barend Botes and Yolandie Vosloo saddle Into The Future in the lucky last race.

He showed signs of returning to best form in his last start over 1000m on the Vaal Classic course. He has won twice, finished second once and third once from eight starts over this distance.

Warren Kennedy takes the ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

Marco van Rensburgh will not be riding today as he is medically indisposed.

Apprentice Xola Jacobs rode his 20th winner at the Vaal Racecourse on 21 October. He will now claim 2.5kgs.

The false rail is set at 5.5m on the back straight and bend with a 5.5m spur at the 500m mark.
