Watch Out For Warren

The first Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h20

Turffontein Racecourse plays host to a nine-race programme on the Standside course.

The main event on the day is Race 5 which is the Gr3 Fillies Mile.

The first is due off at 12h00.

Jimmy The Rich writes that the in-form stable of Paul Peter saddles Corapi in Race 4. He has finished second in both his efforts to date, the latest of which was over this distance.

He lost a length at the start that day, raced handy and tried hard all the way to the line. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked.

The son of Elusive Fort makes his course debut and if suited to the track, he should shed his maiden tag.

Black Thorn from the Sean Tarry yard takes his place in Race 8. He found the mile in his last start on the sharp side.

He was outpaced, but the manner in which he finished off his race caught the eye. The son of Pomodoro won his penultimate start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville.

He should strip a much fitter horse and if keeping on a straight line, he may be the one to beat.
