Marco Is The Man Today

Note early start! First off at 11h30

A ten-race programme at Turffontein runs alongside Kenilworth this afternoon.

Jockey Marco van Rensburg has five rides with a couple of decent chances of winning –  and he may be the man to follow.

It is an early start to proceedings with the first due off at 11h30.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Bureau Des Legende from the Mike de Kock stable takes her place in Race 9 and she is the best bet on the card.

She was ultra-impressive when winning her last two starts over this distance. She set the pace last time, found another kick and cruised clear for the victory.

The daughter of Legislate received the maximum penalty for that victory, but she has some class about her and can win four on the trot.

Trainer Brett Warren saddles Supreme Dance in Race 8 and he represents decent each way value.

He produced a promising comeback run over 1400m at the Vaal last time. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging.

The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests that he will love the rise in distance. He should strip a much fitter horse this afternoon and may be the one to side with.
